Hi there crafty friends! Are you tired of looking up the Cricut Easy Press Settings every time you do an iron-on project? I was too!
So I created a printable Cricut Heat Guide for us. You can quickly see the time and temp we should use to press different types of iron-on vinyl using different materials.
Because not only does the temp depend on which vinyl you’re using, the material makes a big difference too!
Quick Links to Information in This Post
Cricut Heat Guide Video
Here is a short video describing how to use the Cricut heat press guide and how to get it in your inbox easily.
Using the Cricut Heat Press Chart
First, click here to get your printable Cricut Easy Press Settings Chart. Fill out the simple form and you will receive the chart right away. That way you can print it if you want and keep a copy on your computer or phone.
After you have your Cricut Heat Guide you’ll notice across the top of the page lists the different vinyl types. And then down the side of the page lists the different materials you can use.
To find the correct temp and time to set your easy press for, find the type of vinyl you are using on the top row, and then slide your finger down until you get to the row with the material you are heat pressing on to.
The first number listed is the temperature you’ll set your Easy Press to and the second number is the time you’ll press it for.
If there is a red X in that column it means that it’s not recommended to use that vinyl type on the material listed.
Most of the vinyl listed is a cool peel. This means after you have finished pressing, allow the vinyl to cool off before you remove the carrier sheet. There are a few exceptions though if the vinyl is a warm peel it is listed on the sheet.
As you see the Cricut Easy Press Heat Guide is super easy to use. You’ll be able to quickly find the time and temp you need for the materials you have.

What is the cost and the link for the subscription box? I absolutely loved the video making skinny tumblers with infusible ink. I have only tried it on making a shirt and had some ghosting so I gave up. I like the idea of baking and no resin mess!
