Gather the Supplies

Piece of Furniture or Wood Two Contrasting Colors of Paint Brushes Elmers Glue *Optional* Hair Dryer

Prepare and paint the base color using the darker shade of your two color choices.

After the paint dries, add a layer of glue

Spread the glue around with a brush.  Thicker layers of glue will give you give you bigger cracks.

Use a Hair Dryer (or Wait) until a 'skin' forms over the glue

Immediately paint the lighter shade of paint over the glue

As it dries the top layer of paint will start to crack.
