Step One: Cut the Heart Pop-Up Card

After it’s cut start with the insert piece that has the extra cuts and perforations. Fold the insert in half and then slide your finger through one of the slits on the side and pop the middle section out and fold in the opposite direction.

Step Two: Assemble Your Heart Pop Up Card

Next, line up the heart outlines with the heart cutout. Flip the outline over and glue all around the edges and a few places in the middle. Place the outlines over the hearts, use a weeding tool or pen to help slide the outlines into place. Allow the glue to dry.

Next fold the outter part of the card in half and add glue all around the I <3 U on the inside. Glue the insert in place.

Now we’re going to glue the pop-up insert in place. Place glue on the inside of the card. Fold the insert in half with the pop-up part folded in. Glue one side of the insert down lining up the edges and creases. Then close the card to glue the other side down.

Open the card back up to make sure the pop-up part didn’t get glue on it. Leave the card open to dry.
