Welcome to Cricut
Buying a Cricut cutting machine was one of the best investments I have made. It's paid for itself many times over. And I want you to experience the same success.
I'll teach you how to master design space and use your Cricut to it's fullest potential. Plus I'll show you how to make vinyl crafts, paper crafts, wood signs, and more all with your Cricut.
We're going to have so much fun!
Let's get started.
If you haven't purchased a Cricut cutting machine yet and are wondering which one is best for beginners, checkout out this post. I did all of the research for you to make it easy.
When you're ready to get started you'll need these text editing tips for design space. I teach you how to make monograms, get fonts, curve text and more.
You'll also need the guide to vinyl found here, it comes with a free printable for easy reference.
I touch on making stencils in text editing tips, but for an in-depth tutorial on an easy way to make vinyl stencils with your Cricut be sure to read this post.
And of course if you are going to make vinyl stencils you'll need to know how to paint a perfect wood sign. I cover all my tips and tricks to stop paint bleeds, get your stencil on straight and remove your stencil without peeling up paint.
Once you're comfortable in design space you'll be ready to try out some amazing designs others have made. The best designs for Cricut are in the form of SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) Files. Go here to learn how to get SVG Files into Design Space on your PC, iPhone, or iPad
And be sure to check out the free SVG files I offer here. All of my Cricut crafts include the cut file that you need
I love making stencils and painting, in this post I'll show you how you can cut a re-usable stencil on your Cricut.
And you can also cut stencils out of freezer paper to paint on fabrics. This craft is super fun.
